Students at Fairview Elementary took on the impossible during PE class.
Third graders in FES teacher Kelly Maggart's class had to traverse the gym without touching the ground during in a Mission Impossible activity. Coach Chris Langley and Coach Rachel Cherry emphasized the importance of teamwork and communication.
"We used things like hula hoops, scooters and mats to help us," said FES students Josh Bateman, Raylan Olmstead and Bryar Miller. "It's fun to play the game with your friends, especially when we did boys versus girls."
Nolensville High nursing students are making sure their skills stay sharp.
Students in Amy Glenn's class are practicing how to take a person's blood pressure, give a sponge bath, prop a patient up with pillows and more.
"I'm in Nursing Ed, and we're learning about how to take care of residents in the nursing home," said NHS student Manahil Seddiqee. "We've learned how to wash a resident when they're not able to move or do it themselves, and we've learned about brushing their teeth. I want to be in the medical field when I'm older, so that's what made me want to take this class."
