GMS, MCMS and TSMS Open Fall Shows

Three middle school theater departments are getting ready to open their fall shows this week.

Grassland Middle

At Grassland Middle, a well-known book character is taking the stage in Junie B. Jones The Musical Jr.

Opening Friday, November 1, this show takes all the hilarity of Barbara Park's beloved series and tells the story of Junie B. Jones' first day of first grade.

Tickets are available online and cost $10 for general admission and $5 for students or senior adults. The times and dates of the performances are listed below. Grassland Middle is located at 2390 Hillsboro Road in Franklin.

Mill Creek Middle

Mill Creek Middle's show, The Drowsy Chaperone Jr., opens on November 1 and runs through November 9.

Featuring hysterical numbers and colorful characters, audiences can expect music and laughs from this performance.

Thompson's Station Middle

Charlotte's Web hits the Thompson's Station Middle stage starting November 1.

Based on E.B White's book, this story of a pig named Wilbur and a spider named Charlotte explores bravery and the true meaning of friendship.
