Trinity Elementary Students Learn Folk Dance

Music and PE classes are joining forces at Trinity Elementary.

Students are learning about tinikling, a traditional Philippine folk dance that uses bamboo poles. As they practiced, students used flexible bands to replace the poles.

"We're basically attaching the bands to two people," said TES student Isla Rose Martin. "Then someone jumps in the middle and the people at each end jump in and out."
