February is American Heart Month, and Trinity Elementary is hosting its annual Kids Heart Challenge.
On Monday, January 30, TES teachers wore matching shirts to kick off the event. Throughout the week, students participated in heart-themed activities in their classes and practiced their jump rope skills in PE.
"We do this annual event here at Trinity," said TES PE teacher Kevin Morriello. "It's a fundraiser for the American Heart Association, and it's a chance for us to talk about heart health with our students and about how to act with your heart through kindness and leadership."
