NES Students Perform The Wizard of Oz

Nolensville Elementary students took audiences on a magical trip down the Yellow Brick Road on April 4-5, when fourth and fifth graders performed The Wizard of Oz.

With vibrant costumes, fun songs and months of preparation, students brought the classic story to life for their peers, families and staff. Art teacher Jonie Tilton says the students took their roles seriously and captivated the crowd at each performance.

“We are just so impressed by how talented our fourth and fifth graders are,” said Tilton. “The smiles and laughter on their faces make all the hard work worth it.”
