The Brentwood High Bruins and the Independence High Eagles competed at the Brentwood Country Club on Tuesday, August 18.

The Independence boys golf team delivered a strong team performance, defeating Brentwood 141-152 over nine holes. Tripp Goodrich paced the Bruins with a team-low score of 36, but it was not enough to overcome Independence's depth.

In the girls' match, Independence narrowly edged out Brentwood by just three strokes, finishing 90-93. Katelyn Verni led the Lady Bruins with a score of 44, accompanied by Emma Schroder's 49, in the tight contest.
