Students at Amanda North Elementary School are bringing some holiday joy to the residents of The Goldton of Spring Hill.

Members of the fourth and fifth grade choir visited the assisted living facility on December 8 to spread some cheer and serenade the residents with a selection of holiday classics. In addition to their musical performance, the students handed out holiday cards that they made in art class.

"I really enjoyed singing for the residents and giving them the holiday cards we made," said fifth-grader Tate Jackson. "It was fun and so nice to see how happy they looked."

Music teacher Kristin Gladish says she could not be any prouder of the students for the way they performed and represented Amanda North Elementary.

"The students sang so beautifully," said Gladish. "I know they were excited, and it was great to also see them interact with the residents. It truly warmed my heart."
