Work Session Scheduled for October 8

The October School Board Work Session will take place one week earlier than usual due to Fall Break, which is October 12-16.

The session, which is typically held on the Thursday prior to the monthly School Board meeting, will take place on Thursday, October 8. It will also begin at 5:30 p.m., which is 30 minutes earlier than normal, and will be livestreamed on the WCSIT YouTube Channel. 

Board members will spend a portion of the October work session collaborating with Zeal, the superintendent search firm, to establish the structure, expectations, timeline, community engagement strategy, communication protocols and decision-making procedures for the superintendent search.

There are no changes to the date and time of the October Policy Committee Meeting. It will take place on Monday, October 5, at 6 p.m. The October School Board Meeting will be held on Monday, October 19, at 6:30 p.m.
