WCS High School Students Achieve Perfect ACT Composite Scores

Twenty-three WCS high school students are among those who've earned a perfect score on the ACT.

Brentwood High's Madeline Anderson, Rohan Dasgupta, Andrew Estrella and Cade McConnell earned a 36 composite score on the October exam.

"This is the equivalent of an all-star team: Madeline, Rohan, Andrew, and Cade all have unique strengths in the classroom and out, but everyone with a pulse knows they pass the eye test," said BHS Principal Kevin Keidel. "These are well-rounded men and women, students who can rise to any challenge, big or small. ”

From Centennial High, Adison Edmondson, Keagan Goenner and Michael Rada each received a 36 composite on the test. 

"I am incredibly proud of Adison, Keagan and Michael for achieving a perfect score on the ACT," said CHS Principal Dr. Kevin Dyson. "This is such a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to their hard work, dedication and commitment to their future success."

Franklin High's Taggart Houghtaling, Evelyn Wang and Abby Webb also earned a perfect score on the October exam.

"We are so proud of Taggart's achievements," said FHS Assistant Principal Sarah Reynolds. "He is a hardworking, courteous and diligent student with a true passion and love of learning. Evelyn exhibits such loyalty, ambition and persistence as a student. She has made an impact at Franklin both academically and through the arts. Abby is a resilient, intuitive, creative thinker who is always willing to help others. She doesn’t give up in the face of challenges."

Nolensville High's Deepak Balamurugan earned a true perfect 36 score on the October exam, meaning he scored a 36 in all subject areas.

“Deepak is an incredible student who excels at all he sets his mind to,” said NHS Principal Dr. Jeni Calvert. “No matter the arena, Deepak is a leader among his peers. Congratulations to him on this success."

From Page High, Adam Curwen, Mackenzie Ey, John Gray and Abby Riebau all scored a 36 composite score on the October exam. Bailey Murray and Christopher Peck scored a perfect composite score on the December exam.

"We are so proud of all of these Page High students," said Page High teachers. "They are reliable, highly motivated and hardworking. These successes are just the beginning of the great things to come."

Ravenwood High's Jaxon Endres, Katelyn Green, William Hoskins, Claire Locke and Thomas Pierce all earned a 36 composite score on the October exam.

"All these Ravenwood High Raptors deserve this accomplishment," said Ravenwood High teachers. "They are incredibly intelligent, respectful, dedicated and hardworking, which are all character traits needed to do well on the ACT."

From Summit High, Nathan Phillips scored a 36 composite score on the October exam.

"We are so proud of Nathan and his accomplishments while at Summit," said SHS Principal Sarah Lamb. "Not only did he have a perfect score on the ACT, but he also has had many successes at Summit, taking challenging classes and being involved at school. Nathan will do well in his post-secondary plans, and we are looking forward to hearing all about the great work that will take place."
