Three WCS high school students are showing their academic prowess by earning a perfect composite score on the February ACT exam.

From Brentwood High, William Perez and Achilleas Kostoulas both earned a 36 composite score.

"Both William and Achilleas are outstanding students who have a curiosity to learn as much as they can, and this desire to learn extends beyond the classroom," said Brentwood High teacher Harriet Medlin. "Both students are involved in various extracurriculars, including Science Olympiad and Mu Alpha Theta."

Franklin High's Connor Parton also earned a perfect composite score on the exam.

"Connor is an excellent student with a humble, confident approach to his academics both in and out of the classroom," said Franklin High Assistant Principal Toby Ruth. "Within his International Baccalaureate cohort, there was an unofficial contest on who would be the first to achieve a 36 on the ACT in the Class of 2027, and Connor won out."
