Families play an important role in helping students develop healthy digital habits, make informed choices online and maintain a balanced relationship with technology.

Williamson County Schools is committed to partnering with families by providing tools and resources that offer insight into student technology use at school and support healthy digital habits at home. These resources, including information on ClassLink Analytics and tips to create a family media plan, can be found on the new WCS Technology webpage.

ClassLink My Analytics

Families can view student technology usage data and use these insights to support conversations about responsible technology use, digital habits and learning goals.

To access your student’s information, log in to the ClassLink Dashboard using your student’s credentials and select the "My Analytics" app pinned at the bottom of the dashboard.

From this page, you can view student login history and digital resource usage. For step-by-step directions, access the ClassLink My Analytics Student Guide. If you need assistance accessing your student’s credentials, please see Skyward Family Access: Access Student Username and Password.

Family Media Plan

Every family has unique routines, priorities and technology needs. Creating a Family Media Plan can help establish clear expectations for when, where and how technology is used while promoting healthy habits and open communication.

Visit the new WCS Technology webpage to find resources that support healthy technology use, positive digital habits and family technology planning to enhance learning, well-being and family connection.

Be on the lookout for additional InFocus articles throughout the school year to learn more about how the district's WCS Technology Use Guidance supports safe, effective technology use for students.

We welcome family feedback as implementation of the Technology Use Guidance continues. Families can share their thoughts and suggestions through the Technology Family Feedback Form.
