From the first stop of the morning to the final drop-off of the day, WCS bus drivers help keep students moving safely. This month, six team members are being recognized for their dedication.
Williamson County Schools kicked off its Bus Driver of the Month program for the 2026-27 school year on September 16 by recognizing August honorees June Taulbee, Rhonda Graves, Todd Knopp, Heather Crowner, David Howell and William Esmon. With support from Sonic Drive-In, each recipient received a complimentary breakfast, a Sonic gift card and a certificate of recognition.
The Bus Driver of the Month program gives students, families, employees and community members a chance to recognize transportation team members who make a difference for WCS students. Each month, a selection committee reviews submitted nominations to recognize bus drivers who go above and beyond in service to our students.
Know a WCS bus driver or attendant who deserves to be recognized? Nominations can be submitted through the Bus Driver of the Month form on the WCS website.
