FHS Choir Takes the Field at Sounds Game

Choir students at Franklin High had the exciting opportunity to sing at the Nashville Sounds baseball game on September 5.

Under the direction of FHS choir director Angela Winter, the group was invited to First Horizon Park to begin the game with a performance of the national anthem.

"The best part of the experience was having the opportunity to share their genuine love of singing together in the exciting new environment of a professional baseball game,” said Winter. “The energy and reactions of the crowd combined with the professionalism of the entire experience gave our students a real sense of pride in the work they had done and the music they were sharing.”
