District Warns Community to Be Aware

Williamson County Schools is warning families and local businesses to be on the lookout for two potential scams.

Text Message Scam

Several community members have reported receiving a text message asking them to reply "Yes" to receive alerts from Williamson County Schools.

The district uses a mass notification system to communicate with families and does not require confirmation to receive text messages. If the text message did not come from 615-825-7655 or 615-676-1360, it is not a legitimate communication and should be marked as spam and deleted.

Centennial High Market Vendor Scam

Someone claiming to be hosting a Centennial Craft Vendor Market at Centennial High is soliciting responses and registration payments from local vendors. The only market-style event hosted each year at Centennial is the annual CHS Holiday Show which will happen November 21-22 this year.

The CHS Holiday Show will never ask vendors to pay via Venmo, PayPal, Cash App or other digital payment methods.
