Winstead Elementary Grandparent’s Breakfast

Hundreds of grandparents visited Winstead Elementary for the annual Grandparents Breakfast September 9.

Students and their families were treated to breakfast, took photos together and marked a map to show just how far some grandparents traveled.

“It’s so wonderful to see how the grandparents are so excited,” said WSES event chair Lita Miranda. “Some of them are all dressed up to the hilt, and they want this to be a special day. It’s really great that they’ve all come out. The students love showing off their school, and it’s just a fun time.”
