WCS College Fair in New Location

This year’s WCS College Fair is right around the corner, and it’s got a new location.

After outgrowing the CoolSprings Galleria, the College Fair will take place at the Ag Expo Center Tuesday, September 10.

“We have had so many colleges and such a great turn out from students and families that we needed to move to a bigger location where we could spread out and give everyone plenty of room to move around comfortably,” said WCS Counseling Specialist Becky Mitchell.

From 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., students and parents will have the opportunity to talk to university representatives.

“This is a great opportunity for students to talk with college reps from schools that are located all over the country,” Mitchell said. “It’s truly a one-stop college shopping experience.”

In an effort to be environmentally conscientious, students are asked to bring their own reusable bags to carry the information they collect from different colleges.

The Ag Expo Center is located at 4215 Long Lane in Franklin.
