Kenrose Elementary Students Practice Archery

Published October 1, 2019

Third through fifth grade students at Kenrose Elementary are getting some target practice.

In Physical Education (PE) classes, the students are learning about archery. They are split into groups and compete in a friendly competition to see who can get the most arrows in the target.

“Not a lot of kids get this experience,” said KES PE teacher Anna Sellers. “We try to give students different opportunities to excel. It works on fine motor skills; it challenges them in a different way; and it’s just fun.”
