Grassland Elementary Grandparents’ Day

Grassland Elementary hosted some important visitors October 18: the students’ grandparents.

Grandparents were treated to the full Grandparents’ Day experience. They rode the bus to school, attended class with their grandchildren and enjoyed a lunch in the cafeteria.

“Some of the teachers played bingo, like ‘what was your first car?’ with the grandparents,” said GES PTO Event Co-Chair Monica Reed. “It just helps the kids realize how special it is to have someone in their lives for events like this.”
