Academic All-Star – Morgan Price, Centennial High

Centennial High School is proud to recognize senior Morgan Price as its Academic All-Star for the 2019-20 school year.
Teachers say Morgan’s dedication to her schoolwork and perseverance in the classroom make her the perfect choice for this award.
“Morgan exemplifies our values of citizenship, scholarship and leadership,” said CHS Principal Dr. Meghen Sanders. “Morgan has an exceptional work ethic, a love for learning, a desire to help others and a wonderful spirit.”
Morgan and her family moved to Franklin from Minnesota. Although many students would be scared to move to a new city and state while in high school, Morgan says she welcomed the change.
“I wasn’t nervous,” said Morgan. “I was excited to come to Centennial. I like everything about the school, especially the teachers. They’re funny.”
Morgan says she likes all of her classes, but her favorite is geometry because it’s interesting.
When she’s not in school, Morgan can be found relaxing at home or taking her dog, Zeus, for a walk. She says her ultimate goal is to graduate from college and become a midwife.
In the meantime, Morgan says she’ll continue doing all the things that got her to this point in the first place.
“I do what my teachers ask, and I get my work done,” said Morgan. “I like to work.”
