Academic All-Star – Edmondson Elementary
Published February 17, 2020
Edmondson Elementary fifth grader Hudson Bryant holds himself to high standards in and out of the classroom. He’s also a kind and respectful friend, which are just a few reasons he’s been chosen as the school’s Academic All-Star for the 2019-20 school year.
“Hudson is a student who exemplifies what it means to be an Edmondson Explorer,” said his teachers. “He comes to school every day ready to learn with a growth mindset and a great attitude.”
Hudson loves Edmondson Elementary because he feels like his teachers are invested in him.
“They help me learn,” he said. “I feel like my teachers really know me, and they know what I know and what I don’t know.”
Because he’s good with numbers, Hudson’s favorite subject is math. When he’s not in the classroom, he can be found playing sports. When he grows up, he wants to be a professional athlete.
“I like to play outside,” Hudson said. “My favorite sport is baseball, but I like basketball and football, too.”
Hudson knows the importance of doing well in school now so he can continue to excel when he goes to middle and high school. His teachers have enjoyed watching his journey through Edmondson.
“His integrity is unmatched,” said his teachers. “We are very thankful to be in Hudson’s life and be given the gift of watching him learn and grow. Edmondson is lucky to have a student with such great character and work ethic.”
