Trinity Elementary Explores STREAM

Published March 29, 2019

Trinity Elementary turned learning into a family activity with its Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math (STREAM) Night March 26.

Students and their families had a wide selection of activities to participate in. From building cup towers to programming robots, every aspect of STREAM was represented.

“I’m really glad that kids are getting a chance to see that math, engineering and art are all connected,” said TES Library Media Specialist Dea Peach.

To complete the challenges and activities, students put their problem-solving skills to the test in order to come up with creative solutions.

“It’s awesome,” Peach said. “The students come up with these crazy solutions to the problems. It’s like Seuss-ville over here. I absolutely love it. When families come and work together, it’s a great thing to see.”
