Winstead Elementary Grandparents’ Breakfast

Students and their grandparents enjoyed a special event at Winstead Elementary School September 11.

Grandparents joined their grandchildren for breakfast, photos and prizes. Now in its eleventh year, Winstead’s grandparents breakfast has become a favorite tradition at the school.

“This is a wonderful event where the students get to showcase their proud school spirit to their grandparents,” said WSES Principal Kathy Wells. “They enjoy a light breakfast before school begins, place a marker on the map to indicate where their grandparents traveled from and complete a classroom activity.”
