Williamson County Schools Still Accepting Donations for Texas Students

Schools around Williamson County will continue accepting donations of school supplies until Friday, September 15 for the “Tennessee Volunteers for Texas” campaign.

The donated supplies will go toward helping students in the Houston Independent School District as they recover from Hurricane Harvey. The following new school supplies will be accepted:

  • Backpacks
  • Standard and College-Ruled Paper
  • Crayons
  • No. 2 Pencils
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Ag Expo Park is also accepting donations until Saturday, September 9 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The park is located at 4215 Long Lane, Franklin, Tennessee.

Those wishing to donate money instead of supplies may do so through the Community Foundation website.
