Williamson County Municipalities Support BE NICE

Published September 15, 2017

Municipalities across the county are standing together in support of the district’s BE NICE movement.

Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson issued a proclamation September 11 declaring September, 2017, as BE NICE Month. City leaders in Brentwood, Fairview, Franklin, Nolensville and Spring Hill did the same at various times throughout the month.

“As mayor of the great city that originated the BE NICE initiative, it’s more than just a campaign, it’s a way of life for our students and our community,” said Fairview Mayor Patti Carroll. “It is exciting to be part of a movement that has spread across the county.”

This year’s theme for BE NICE is Every 1 Counts. It officially kicked off May 25 when student ambassadors and faculty from each school gathered for the BE NICE Leadership Summit. They spent the day getting to know one another and learning new ways to spread the BE NICE message.
