WCS Principal Receives AAHS Education Award

Allendale Elementary School Principal Dr. Cindy Davis was given the Education Award from the African American Heritage Society (AAHS) of Williamson County on February 3.
The award is given to those with outstanding contributions to the profession and field of education. Davis received a plaque at the 17th Annual Black Tie Event in Cool Springs.
“It is an honor to be chosen as a recipient of the Education Award by such a respectful organization,” Davis said.
The AAHS on a nonprofit organization aiming to collect and preserve artifacts from Williamson County’s African American heritage as well as increase appreciation of the culture. Davis takes that goal to heart.
“The works of AAHS have motivated me to continue giving back to my community by inspiring others to be change agents in education and in life,” Davis said.
