WCS Changes Notification System Vendor

Published July 7, 2017

Parents may notice some slight changes to the emails they receive from the schools and district.

That’s because Williamson County Schools recently changed its phone and email notification vendor. The change will have no effect on the phone calls parents receive from the district, but the format of any emails from Williamson County Schools will change slightly and have Blackboard listed as the sender.

“The phone and email notification system is a valuable tool for principals, attendance secretaries and others who need to communicate with our families,” said WCS Communications Director Carol Birdsong. “We encourage parents to make sure their contact information is up-to-date in Family Access.”
