WCS Asks the Question Why Williamson

Published January 11, 2018

Why Williamson? The new recruitment campaign for Williamson County Schools aims to find out.

As more and more new employees join the team, WCS met with current team members to find out what makes WCS special to them.

“Why Williamson is an HR initiative to highlight the people in our organization and tell their professional stories,” said Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Dr. Leigh Webb.

The new video series will feature employees from different areas around the district. Through the employee spotlights, they will tell the story of the district and Why Williamson is their home.

“Test scores, report cards and supporting data plots are often referenced when we discuss Williamson County Schools’ top ranking,” said Webb. “However, we know it is the people in our organization that make WCS a success.”

Oak View Elementary third grade teacher Mindy Cushenberry is the first to give her answer to the question Why Williamson.
