Take the Steps to Walk Across Williamson

Published March 1, 2018

The Walk Across Williamson Challenge is back for its 10th year.

Beginning March 1, students, family members and Williamson County Schools staff are encouraged to track their activity with the goal of achieving 1,800 minutes. Those 1,800 minutes represent the 90-mile distance across Williamson County.

Using an activity log chart available on the Williamson County government’s Walk Across Williamson page, participants can track their active minutes and then turn them in to their participating school or using the link on the Walk Across Williamson page by April 2.

Registration is also open for the free celebration event at Harlinsdale Farm on Sunday, April 8. The celebration includes a free 5k trail run, a 1-mile fun run and a Family Fun Zone. People wishing to participate in either of the run can register at the event’s It’s Your Race page.
