School Board Names District’s Newest Schools

The district’s three newest schools now have names.

At its September 21 meeting, the School Board voted to name the new elementary school in Brentwood Jordan Elementary. It is located at 9714 Split Log Road and will serve kindergarten through fifth grades.

The new elementary and middle schools in the southern part of the county were named Thompson’s Station Elementary and Thompson’s Station Middle. Thompson’s Station Elementary is located at 2640 Clayton Arnold Road and will serve kindergarten through fifth grades. Thompson’s Station Middle is located at 2638 Clayton Arnold Road and will serve grades sixth through eighth.

All three schools are scheduled to open in the fall of 2018.
