The purpose of this section is to answer any questions parents, teachers or community members might have regarding the school district and to set the record straight in regards to any rumors that might be circulating.

Amazon has recalled thousands of viewing glasses saying they will not provide adequate protection to safely view the eclipse. Can we receive some sort of confirmation that the glasses provided to the children meet all requirements?

Williamson County Schools has confirmed with every school that the eclipse glasses our students and staff will be using August 21 comply with the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard for filters for direct viewing of the Sun.
