A Ravenwood High School student is making a name for herself in the world of technology after being named the Technology Student of the Year by the Nashville Technology Council (NTC).
On January 25 at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Gabrielle-Kaili Liu joined some of the best technological minds in Tennessee at the 9th Annual NTC Awards.
Kaili was selected as the winner by a panel of more than 70 judges as she competed against college-level students.
The Technology Student of the Year Award is given to a student who demonstrates academic excellence in the field of technology. Kaili was presented with a Gibson guitar as a trophy.
“The Nashville community has nurtured my love for STEM and given me many blessings all my life,” Kaili said. “This is the community that has accompanied me throughout my scientific journey, and I am incredibly honored to have received this award.”
