Power Mondays Return for Some in 2017-18

Middle and high schools will observe Power Mondays on most Mondays throughout the 2017-18 school year.

Unlike last year, there are no elementary schools that will participate in the program.

Power Mondays allow teachers to meet in curriculum clusters to discuss course objectives, common assessment of student learning, pacing and other professional development.

Buses will operate on the regular schedule on Power Mondays. Students who arrive at the regular time will be given the opportunity to choose from several supervised activities until the school day begins.
