Food Services to Provide Breakfast, Lunch During Inclement Weather

Published January 18, 2018

Williamson County Schools will provide breakfast and lunch options for students on inclement weather days when School Age Child Care (SACC) is open.

As during any regular school day, students will be able to purchase meals using their lunch account numbers or cash. Parents may also purchase meals if needed. Breakfast will cost $2 and lunch will cost $3 for parents.

Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

“We want to make sure students who need a warm meal on inclement weather days are able to get one,” said WCS Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney. “We will continue to provide this opportunity each time schools are closed but SACC snow sites are open.”

Meals will be available at the Professional Development Center located at 1761 West Main St. in Franklin. Meals will also be served at the following SACC snow sites:

  • Crockett Elementary
  • Grassland Elementary
  • Heritage Elementary
  • Hunters Bend Elementary
  • Lipscomb Elementary
  • Longview Elementary
  • Nolensville Elementary
  • Pearre Creek Elementary
  • Trinity Elementary
  • Westwood Elementary
  • Winstead Elementary

These sites will be offering meals only, not childcare. Only the cafeterias will be open.
