Don’t Drive Distracted

As part of the district’s effort to educate students about the dangers of distracted driving, Williamson County Schools is launching a new series of Public Service Announcements (PSAs).
WCS teamed up with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office over the summer to produce the videos, which feature messages from School Resource Officers (SRO’s) at the district’s 10 high schools. Each message is a sobering reminder of the risks one faces when driving distracted.
“We’re all in this common effort to increase the safety of our young drivers,” said Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney. “Our SRO’s have really strong relationships with our high school students so I hope this message is well received, and I hope that both the parents and students take this message to heart.”
The video above is a compilation of all the PSA’s, but each individual school PSA can be found on the Williamson County Schools YouTube Channel.
