WCS to Hold Reverse Job Fair

Published March 2, 2017

Employers will have a chance to meet the workers of tomorrow at this month’s WCS Reverse Job Fair.

The event, which is aimed at connecting students who are working to earn an occupational diploma with local businesses, will be held Wednesday, March 29 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Center in Franklin.

Instead of a traditional job fair with employers hosting a table, high school job seekers will be hosting their own tables. This event will introduce employers to young people, giving them an opportunity to learn about their qualities that make them strong candidates for employment.

WCS will have job seekers in the following career sectors: automotive/mechanics, food service, retail, sales, IT, childcare and animal care.

The event is free to attend, however those interested in attending should RSVP to Marie Wicks at mariew@wcs.edu.

The Williamson County Recreation Center is located at 1120 Hillsboro Road in Franklin.
