WCS Students Advance to the DECA International Career Development Conference

Students from seven Williamson County high schools will compete next month at the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California, after strong showings in the state DECA tournament.

Brentwood, Franklin, Independence, Nolensville, Page, Ravenwood and Summit high schools will all be represented at the International Conference from April 26-29.

DECA is a student organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools. More than 18,000 high school students, advisers, business persons and alumni are expected to attend this year’s conference.

Listed below are the WCS students who qualified to attend based on their performance at the state competition March 23-25.
