WCS Grads Win National Student Production Awards-7296

Two former WCS students can now add the words “national award winner” to their resumes.

Franklin High Class of 2016 graduate McKenna Martin and Ravenwood High Class of 2016 graduate Mitch Mullins were both recognized at the inaugural National Student Production Awards in Washington D.C.

Martin won the award for Writing for her video titled Identity Crisis which can be viewed below. Her teacher at Franklin High was Keri Thompson.

Mullins won the award for Animation/Graphics/Special Effects. His teacher was Shane Shoemake.

In all, WCS students were nominated in six categories including Newscast, Brentwood High; General Assignment – Light News, Franklin High; Animation/Graphics/Special Effects, Ravenwood High; Director, Franklin High; Photographer, Ravenwood High; and Writing, Franklin High.
