WCS Cafeterias Sparkle with Spring Health Scores
Published May 3, 2017
Williamson County Schools cafeterias are some of the cleanest around and they have the scores to prove it.
According to the Williamson County Health Department’s spring health inspections, all 41 kitchens received a score of 95 or above on their individual scores. The department conducts two inspections each year at all Williamson County schools.
“I could not be more proud of our cafeteria staff and their dedication towards the students,” said WCS Food Service Director James Remete.
During the school year, WCS cafeterias serve approximately 3.6 million meals including 85 tons of chicken, 90 tons of apples and 8,000 gallons of milk.
