WCS Boasts Impressive Health Scores

WCS students aren’t the only ones with high marks. According to the Williamson County Health Department’s spring health inspections, all 39 kitchens received a score of 99 or above on their individual scores. The department conducts two inspections each year at all Williamson County schools.
WCS Food Service Director James Remete attributes the high scores to a dedicated staff of cafeteria workers who use monthly internal health inspections to stay up-to-date with state health codes.
“We always tend to score well on the health department’s inspections,” said Remete. “We are able to maintain our healthy standards thanks to cafeteria managers who continue to ensure the operation of a safe, healthy and clean kitchen.”
