WC-TV Game of the Week Schedule Released

Kickoff for another exciting football season in Williamson County is just a week away, and teams are gearing up for the start 2016-17 season.

As the season approaches, WC-TV, Williamson County’s education and government channel, is ready to provide another season of weekly sports coverage for Williamson County through the Game of the Week broadcast, which covers and highlights the athletic programs in WCS high schools.

WC-TV will bring viewers 11 football games this season, including the inaugural home game at Nolensville High School when the Knights host South Gibson on their new turf field September 2.

The full 2016 Game of the Week schedule is as follows:

  • 8/19 – Centennial at Franklin (Battle of Franklin)
  • 8/26 – Ravenwood at Brentwood (Battle of the Woods)
  • 9/2 – South Gibson at Nolensville (First Nolensville home game)
  • 9/9 – Brentwood at Franklin
  • 9/16 – Independence at Summit
  • 9/23 – Northeast at Brentwood
  • 9/30 – Stewarts Creek at Independence
  • 10/6 – Franklin Co. at Summit (Thursday night)
  • 10/14 – Brentwood at Centennial
  • 10/21 – Flex Schedule Game (Decide Later)
  • 10/28 – Flex Schedule Game (Decide Later)

After a sporting event is taped, it typically airs on:

  • Friday at midnight
  • Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
