School Board to Vote on Final Version of Rezoning Plan

The Williamson County School Board is set to finalize zoning plans for the 2018-19 school year.
The Board is scheduled to vote on the rezoning plan at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 15.
The Williamson County Commission unanimously approved funding for expansions at Brentwood Middle, Brentwood High, Page Middle and Page High schools on Monday, May 8.
With funding for those projects approved, WCS Superintendent Mike Looney presented the final version of rezoning Plan A1 to the Williamson County School Board at its May 11 work session meeting.
The proposal will create zone lines for the district’s three new schools: an elementary school in Brentwood and an elementary and a middle school in Thompson’s Station. Those schools are scheduled to open for the 2018-19 school year.

School Board meetings are open to the public and are held in the Auditorium of the Williamson County Central Office located at 1320 West Main Street in Franklin.
After the Board votes, the final version of the rezoning plan will be posted on the website on Tuesday, May 16.
