Renaissance Students Win State Competition

A group of students from Renaissance High School are this year’s winners of the Tennessee Jump$tart Personal Finance Music Video Competition.
The contest is designed to give Tennessee students in grades K-12 the opportunity to use their creativity to share their personal finance knowledge through music.
Seniors Mason Stubblefield, Michael McClellan and Connor Morton are students in Paula Wolak’s personal finance class at Renaissance. They wrote, performed and recorded the music video, which was then posted online and voted on by the public. When all the votes were cast, Renaissance had received the most likes.
Their winning video which is titled “Avoid Empty Pockets” can be seen below.
