The Page High School football cheerleaders brought the spirit to a National Cheerleaders Association camp in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
From June 11-14, the girls danced, jumped and stunted with the help of talented coaches and instructors.
They brought back an impressive array of awards: Top Performance, Top Team Jumps and Top Team Tumbling to name a few.
Ten girls were nominated to try out for NCA All-American. They were Haley Persch, Ashley Blake, Kelly Boren, Alaina Beck, Erin Holder, Loren Smart, Alexi Smart, Mac Lee, Ashlynne Heath and Alexis Bonn. In addition, Ashley Blake was asked to join the NCA staff. Coach Lisa Clanton received the Outstanding Veteran Coach Award.
“This is a very talented group of young ladies,” Clanton said. “We have eight new members on our team, so we have had to rebuild since last year. These ladies are hardworking and dedicated in bringing home a national title to Page High.”
