Let’s Talk School Meetings Scheduled

It’s time to talk school. Williamson County Schools Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney will join School Board members for two Let’s Talk School community meetings in early November.

The first of two meetings will be held at Brentwood High School on Tuesday, November 1 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The second will take place at Independence High School on Thursday, November 3 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

These community meetings are designed for parents, students and community members to meet with Superintendent Looney and Board members, ask questions and learn more about the operations and progress of the district.

The topics to be discussed will include the 2017-18 school year calendar, growth planning and a timeline for rezoning. For those who can’t make it to the November 1 meeting, WCS will broadcast Looney’s presentation live on the district’s Facebook page.
