Fairview Middle Student Wins Big at State Track and Field Meet

Eighth grader Logan Parsons is making a name for himself in the world of track and field.

At the Tennessee Middle School Athletics Association State Track and Field Meet on May 20, Logan beat his own personal record and the rest of his competition during the 400 meter run.

After traveling to Austin Peay University in Clarksville for the tournament, Parsons finished the run in just 53 seconds.

“Logan Parsons is a stellar athlete and an accomplished student at Fairview Middle,” said FMS Assistant Principal Josiah Holland. “We are incredibly proud of this victory for Logan and are thankful that he represents Fairview Middle so well.”
