Brentwood Middle Boys Golf Wins WMAA Title

Published November 10, 2016

The Brentwood Middle boys golf team has solidified its place as the best middle school boys golf team in Williamson County for the 2016 season.

The Vikings recently won the Williamson Middle Athletic Association title with a big come-from-behind victory.

After being down by 10 strokes after the first day of the tournament, the team stormed back on day two to tie the Generals of Grassland and send the match into a playoff.

The Vikings didn’t waste the opportunity either, as BMS won the tournament by two strokes and ended the season with an undefeated record.

“This golf team is special in that they have each other’s back even when facing adversity,” coach Jeff Adams said. “That showed when they were down by 10 strokes and didn’t waiver.”
