Brentwood High’s Trenton Johnson Wins Golf State Title

Brentwood High school golfer Trenton Johnson is just a sophomore, but that didn’t stop him from taking home the Class AAA boys individual golf state championship October 12.

Johnson captured the 2016 state title with a two-stroke win over the runner up birdieing three of the final four holes to do so.

With two more years at BHS still to go, Johnson is excited of about the prospect of winning again.

“I’m very honored to represent Brentwood High School and win the individual title,” Johnson said. “It means a lot to accomplish this as a sophomore. I can’t wait for my next two years.”
