BMS Sweeps WMAA Championships

The future of high school basketball in the Brentwood area is looking up after both the Brentwood Middle School boys and girls basketball teams captured Williamson Middle Athletic Association championships on March 11.

Both the BMS boys and girls teams defeated tournament host Grassland Middle in a pair of thrilling games, taking home the two titles by a combined five points.

The boys narrowly escaped behind a 53-50 victory, and the girls had even less breathing room in a 36-34 triumph.

This is the first time Brentwood Middle swept both titles since 2015.
