The seniors on the Brentwood High School volleyball team will be able to claim something that almost no high school athletes ever get to claim: four consecutive state championships.
The Lady Bruins defeated Farragut in straight sets on October 21 to claim their fourth straight title and cap off a 51-4 season record.
“This team demonstrated the power of their talent and determined attitudes,” coach Barbara Campbell said. “Their state tournament performance was a showcase of their intense desire with strong focus on team and leadership.”
Brentwood won with a strong team effort, but the Lady Bruins were led by Logan Eggleston who finished with a team-leading 23 kills and 15 digs.
