BHS Forensics Team Takes Home the Hardware

The Brentwood High School forensics team is on a roll.
After their strong performance at both the White House Invitational Forensics Tournament and the Portland High School Forensics Tournament, numerous team members won awards October 15 at the Raptor Invitational Forensic Tournament at Ravenwood High. The competition attracted 22 schools from Tennessee and Kentucky.
Joey Bonnaire and Oliver McCammon took home first place in Public Forum Debate; Shreyas Kumar and Harry Westbrook placed second; Sam Dowd and Aditya Pillai placed third; Gabriella DiTraglia and Malak Elmessiry placed fifth; and Huzyfa Fazili and Sailesh Sitaram finished seventh.
Grace Choi and Zach Johnston took third in Duo Interpretation; Sam Blanchet placed sixth in Poetry Interpretation; Ifrah Khurram placed fifth and Zaynah Ajmal placed sixth in Original Oratory; Cheyenne Williams placed sixth in Storytelling; Dennis Lee finished third in Impromptu Speaking; Oliver Galaska and Rohan Gupta placed fifth in Duet Acting while Arjun Nair and Avi Patri placed sixth; Saahit Adabala placed second in Extemporaneous Speaking; Namrah Ajmal placed third in Informative Speaking, while Collin Maldonado placed fourth and Caroline Overton placed sixth.
